BD-F25 | 2020 Model
The flow forming process maintains the integrity of the design, while also improving the grain-structure of the aluminum, creating a stronger, lighter, and considerably thinner forged-like rim barrel. Flow forming is the response to our market’s demand for lightweight wheels that are more durable and enhance the overall vehicle driving experience.

The flow forged process leverages an ancient technology to create new breakthroughs for today. Forging is a manufacturing process that shapes metal using compressive forces. This metalworking technique is typically employed whenever a component is required to have a high strength. While the part is being shaped and stretched during the process, the grain texture is changed to match the shape of the part giving the part a higher resistance to external forces. A Flow Forged Wheel is stronger than the equivalent piece being cast or machined. Also, there are less metal scraps that result from the process. This result in less money wasted on material and more cost savings and value being delivered to the customer.
Blaque Diamond provides the new Flow Forged BD-F25 wheel in multiple width options along with a Bespoke Fitment Program. This fitment program is designed to create a custom and True Fitment to enhance the look of your exotics and sports cars. BD-F25 Wheel sizes are available in 20 & 22 inch staggered concave fitments. At Blaque Diamond, we are always looking to add value to our products and to our customers.
To begin, a cast wheel is mounted onto a flow forming drum. The drum spins with the mounted wheel, and heat is applied to allow the metal to be shaped more easily. As the wheel is heated and spinning, hydraulic rollers apply pressure to stretch and shape the wheel to the shape of the drum. During this stretching, the wheels’ properties are changing and becoming stronger. The end result is a thinner, lighter, and a stronger wheel.
